(April 11, 2023) The Center for Business Studies and Innovation in Asia-Pacific (CBSI) hosted a roundtable discussion with a visiting diplomatic delegation from Vietnam’s Central Commission of Theoretical Studies. Among the participants from the University of San Francisco were President Paul Fitzgerald, SJ; School of Management Dean Dr. Otgontsetseg Erhemjamts; School of Nursing and Health Professions Dean Dr. Eileen Fry-Bowers; CBSI Executive Director Xiaohua Yang; and several department chairs and professors. Among the Vietnamese delegation were Consul General Hoang Anh Tuan; Ambassador Dang Dinh Quy; and several professors of political economy, history and international relations. Discussion centered on Vietnam’s economic development, potential lessons learned from the United States, and strengthening ties between the University of San Francisco and Vietnam’s academic communities.
