(February 7, 2023) CBSI Advisory Board member, technology entrepreneur and startup founder Mr. Kishan Bulusu invited students to an highly-informative discussion about and demonstration of automated cybersecurity tools developed by his company Botprise, Inc. Entitled “No-Code Auto Remediation on AWS with Botprise,” the presentation was directed towards cybersecurity professionals and hosted by Amazon AWS in their downtown San Francisco office. Afterwards, Mr. Bulusu met with CBSI Executive Director Dr. Xiaohua Yang, CBSI Associate Director William Ktsanes, and a group of technology-savvy students from CBSI’s Global Student Ambassador Program (GSAP), among them GSAP President and Master of Science in Applied Economics (MSAE) graduate student John Chetwynd, MSAE student Daniel Resner, and MBA student Hemil Doshi. USF undergraduate student volunteer Jie Shi graciously helped sign-in and usher guests. Students reported learning a great deal from the presentation and subsequent discussion; Mr. Bulusu marveled at the depth of their understanding and sophistication of the questions they asked. Special thanks to Kishan Bulusu for his strong support of CBSI and extending this invitation to our students.
