(February 16, 2023) CBSI’s Global Student Ambassador Program (GSAP) held a semester kick-off “open house” to welcome new students, launch the newly-formed, student-initiated Global Student Ambassador Club (GSAC), and spread the word about opportunities for students through CBSI. While membership in the Global Student Ambassador Program (GSAP) is limited to just 30 exceptional, academically high-achieving, actively-engaged students selected by CBSI, the newly-formed Global Student Ambassador Club (GSAC) is open to all. GSAC provides the broader student community with opportunities to participate in CBSI events and a potential pathway into GSAP membership. CBSI Executive Director Dr. Xiaohua Yang and Associate Director William Ktsanes joined students in USF’s Privett Plaza for pizza and games. Special thanks to GSAP President John Chetwynd, Vice President Angel Lopez, and GSAP members Yating Zuo, Hemil Doshi and Chiacia Effendy for their hard work planning and implementing this very successful event!
