Congratulations to Dr. Liang Wang, 2023 recipient of the University of San Francisco’s “Outstanding Research Award”!
(May 31, 2023) At the close of each academic year, the University of San Francisco acknowledges and honors a few faculty members who have demonstrated excellence in their research and made outstanding contributions to their academic fields. USF professor and CBSI Associate Director for Research Dr. Liang Wang is the 2023 recipient of the University of San Francisco’s “Outstanding Research Award” for a full professor.
Dr. Wang – past Chair of USF’s Department of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Strategy and International Business – is an leading expert on the interplay between strategy and geography. Examining local competitiveness within a global context, he has conducted research on entrepreneurship and innovation in China as well as the broader impact and importance of geographic concentration, regional innovation, industry clusters, global integration, and global strategy.
