(July 9, 2023) Professor Xiaohua Yang, CBSI Director, hosted a reception at the annual Academy of International Business annual conference in Warsaw, Poland for the Center’s supporters and collaborators. Among the guests were many world leading international business scholars, such as Paul Beamish, Jiatoa (“JT”) Li, Clause Meyer, Jane Lu, Rob van Tulder, Changqi Wu, Peter Li Ping, Tony Fang, and Shameen Prashantham. Xiaohua presented a CBSI video and updated guests on the launch of CBSI as a formal USF research center. She invited IB colleagues to visit the Center and collaborate with the CBSI team on joint research projects.
Many of the reception guests have had affiliations with CBSI for years and have collaborated with CBSI-affiliated faculty on numerous projects. For example, Professor Paul Beamish completed two books with Xiaohua Yang and Liang Wang, Post M&A Integration: Planning for Success and Post M&A Integration: Organizing for Success, both published by Peking University Press. Others have published joint research papers with CBSI faculty. Many have also been keynote and featured speakers at CBSI-hosted international conferences and forums. Xiaohua thanks them for supporting CBSI over the last decade and invites partnerships and collaborations on more projects.
