(April 18, 2023) The Center for Business Studies and Innovation in Asia-Pacific’s (CBSI) Executive-in-Residence and Advisory Board member Ker Gibbs leveraged his industry network and arranged a visit by University of San Francisco students to Plug and Play Tech Center (PNPTC), a venture capital, startup accelerator, and innovation consultancy firm with more than 40 offices across more than 20 countries. After a meeting with PNPTC founder and CEO Saeed Amidi, students joined an exclusive “PNP Taiwanese Founders & Entrepreneurs Meetup VIP Networking Mixer” at the company’s Sunnyvale headquarters.
Students learned firsthand about a PNPTC initiative to foster technology and innovation collaboration between the US and Taiwan. To support Taiwanese corporations and startups build innovation capacity, develop cutting-edge technologies in Silicon Valley, succeed both in the US market and globally, PNPTC offers a combination of resources and services that include a network ecosystem, venture capital, mentorship, and business expertise. Special thanks to Ker Gibbs for providing students the opportunity to develop their professional network and meet high-level industry leaders, investors, and startup founders, and to CBSI’s Global Student Ambassador Program (GSAP) President John Chetwynd for organizing the visit.
