(February 16, 2023) CBSI’s Global Student Ambassador Program (“GSAP”) hosted its spring semester kick-off and open house in the Koret Garden on USF’s campus. Organized by GSAP’s student leadership team, it was an opportunity to showcase CBSI and GSAP, inform the campus community about our many offerings and events, and encourage new students to apply for GSAP membership. At the open house GSAP leaders also began recruiting students for an entirely-student organized Global Student Ambassador Club they are launching this semester. One distinction between the Global Student Ambassador Program (or “GSAP”) and the Global Student Ambassador Club (or “GSAC”) is that the GSAP “program” is administered by CBSI faculty while the GSAC “club” will be run by students themselves. Membership in GSAP is selective and limited to 30 high-achieving students while GSAC will be open to any student and for some serve as a pathway into GSAP membership. Special thanks to GSAP student leaders John Chetwynd, Hemil Doshi, Chiacia Effendy, Angel Lopez, Yating Zuo and others for all your hard work!
